What: A virtual public meeting was held to provide information about the project and obtain further input from the public, prior to filing an application with the Ohio Power Siting Board. PUBLIC INFORMATION CALL-IN MEETING
What: A public meeting was held for those who were interested in participating but did not have access to reliable internet. This meeting was an approximate two-hour-long teleconference. This teleconference was held to provide information about the project and obtain further input from the public, prior to filing an application with the Ohio Power Siting Board. The materials that were shared during that meeting are linked below under ‘Project Presentation’.

Community Night Open House
What: A community night open house was held in Miller City to inform the public about the upcoming start of construction on the Project. Although another community night was not a requirement of the OPSB process, the Powell Creek Solar team felt it was important to provide the community with information about the Project and to hear and respond to any of their questions or concerns. The meeting lasted approximately two and a half hours. There were approximately 200 attendees, and they were provided an opportunity to ask questions about the Project, view posters with information on various Project-related topics, and view simulations of how the Project will look after construction.
